Silk Paj is a lighter weight habotai (also known as Painting Silk or China Silk Lining) is a soft, glossy, lightweight silk that is used to line finer garments. This fabric is also wonderful for silk painting, embroidery and needle punch or needle felting projects. We recommend to pre-wash in hot water before dying or painting to remove any leftover residue from the silk worms and other factors that can cause the fabric to dye unevenly.
